Future Island purchased the land pictured above in 2004. This photo was taken in August 2005. Today the site looks dramatically different. An area has been cleared of vegetation in preparation for the construction of the new school house; a temporary storage facility was constructed to house materials; and a well was dug to provide water needed in the molding of cement blocks. Pictures are soon to come...

Below are the building plans for the school (click on each image for a larger view).

The Goal

To complete construction of a two-story, 16-classroom primary school (for more, click HERE)
To purchase two mini buses to meet the school's transportation needs
To drill a bore hole to serve as the school's potable water source
